During the Governor’s directive in response to COVID-19, the Bossier Parish Courthouse is open to the public. Any member of the public entering the courthouse may choose to wear a face mask when inside the courthouse, with the exception of courtrooms; all parties entering a courtroom must wear a mask at all times to allow for 100% capacity; with the public being responsible for providing their own mask if possible. The mission of the Bossier Parish Assessor’s office is to provide accurate information and to exhibit courteous customer service with professionalism. We stand committed in serving the public with the dignity and respect they deserve. We are dedicated to being on the cutting edge of our profession and we strive to provide information by utilizing the most current and best technology available in our field. Ultimately, our job is to locate, identify and appraise all taxable property in a fair and equitable manner, to maintain current information on property ownership and characteristics, to prepare and certify the assessment roll and to protect the rights of individuals that we serve, all in accordance with state laws and administrative procedures.
